Susie Charnock - Senior Property Manager - Cape Charles
Hey y’all! My name is Susie Rodriguez Charnock, I was born and raised on this beautiful Eastern Shore. I love everything this piece of paradise has to offer, from beautiful sunsets, an amazing community and the peaceful tranquility we all experience when dipping our toes on our beautiful shores. I am a Licensed Realtor in Virginia and have many years in the financial industry, and am now the point of contact for our Cape Charles Office. On my time off I truly enjoy spending time with my high school sweetheart Jake and our three beautiful kiddos, Meya, Jase and Sophia. We travel all over watching my daughter Meya in competitive swimming and I also enjoy fishing, hiking and playing volleyball!
Jaidi Rodriguez - Guest Experience Specialist - Cape Charles
Jaidi, born and raised on the Eastern Shore, has always been captivated by the tranquil and picturesque landscape, as well as the luscious nature that can be found in every corner. Engaging in activities such as taking walks, exploring new places, shinrin-yoku, gardening, cooking, enjoying music, rollerblading, and quality time with her family are all sources of immense gratification for her. Jaidi is enthusiastic about the prospect of contributing to the team and is poised to further her knowledge and personal development.
Lea Wey - Revenue Management
Lea was born and raised on the Jersey Shore. She moved to Chincoteague in 2016 to be an Innkeeper at a local hotel, and instantly fell in love with the island and its community. Her passion is helping people, and working in hospitality has given her a way to do that every day. She also is a licensed REALTOR in Virginia, and enjoys helping others make their move to the beautiful Eastern Shore. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering, reading, yoga, and of course, spending as much time as possible at the beach!
Hope Sloper - Property Care Specialist - Maintenance Director
Born and raised in NoVA, Hope relocated to the Eastern Shore in 2022. After falling in love with the beautiful views, delicate wildlife, and less traffic than she was used to, Hope is happy to call the Eastern Shore home. She is excited to be a part of the Coastal Shore Vacations family and looks forward to growing and learning with us. In her free time she enjoys video games, reading and reviewing books, writing, and spending time with loved ones and her Redbone Coonhound, Annie.
Charlie Clarkson - Property Care Technician
Charlie was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. His grandfather, "Pop", had a family vacation home on Chincoteague, which the family would visit every summer and holidays during his childhood. Charlie bounced back and forth between Baltimore and Chincoteague before the island became his home in 1993. His prior work experience was with the local restaurants for 25 years, and Charlie is enjoying his perpetual property management journey with the Coastal Shore team. Skateboarding, diesel trains (real or model) and "just getting out and going" are a few things Charlie enjoys during his spare time. Remember, it's the small things along the way that make for the adventure of a lifetime.

Candie Walker - Property Care Specialist - Housekeeping Director
Candie was born and raised on the Eastern Shore; she grew up in the small town of Cape Charles. She loves everything the Eastern Shore has to offer... from the acres of farmland to the miles of bay, this has always been home for her and she would never considered leaving! Candie enjoys spending time with her family, friends & her dalmatian, Ember. If she is not at work you can find her at the beach or cruising down the backroads with some good tunes on!
Chris Wey - COO & Property Care Manager
Chris was born and raised in North Jersey. He met his wife, Lea, on the Jersey Shore in 2015. In 2016 he and his wife moved to Chincoteague to work together as an Innkeeper couple. Chris is passionate about hospitality and has a knack for anticipating needs. He has been trained in many lead roles in the hospitality sector from housekeeping and hotel management to concierge service and fine dining. Live music, good food and fun atmosphere is how Chris enjoys spending his free time with his family.
Colton Kerchner - Guest Experience Specialist
Colton spent his early childhood in Gettysburg PA, but moved to Chincoteague Island at the ripe old age of 6. Growing up on the Island, he grew an immense passion for the local area, especially in the fantastic outdoor recreation that can be found throughout the Eastern Shore. As a passionate banjo player, Colton spent his college years in Boone, NC where he played bluegrass music with friends and community members. Since moving back to Chincoteague, Colton has spent much of his time on the water, exploring the best fishing spots in the local area. In addition, he spends most of his free time playing musical instruments, spending time with family, and immersing himself in the bountiful nature of the surrounding area.
Nicolette Hickman - CFO & Property Management Manager
Nicolette was born in NY and relocated to the small town of Chincoteague Island during her young elementary years. As a 3rd generation property manager, it was only natural that after graduating high school she continued her education in the Real Estate field. Nicolette is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Virginia and holds several professional designations. You can definitely say that real estate and property management are in her blood! In her free time, Nicolette enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and reading. A visit to Fiji is on the bucket list! She is most proud of her 4 children (Chandler, Lilly, Ellie and Kendyl) and all of their accomplishments!

Allysin is a native to Chincoteague Island. In her free time, she enjoys making art (especially painting), playing music at the local restaurants and lounges, and camping under the stars. Her passion includes live music with great energy, and she loves to find inspiration in everything from scenic trails to creative spaces. For Allysin, it’s all about bringing good vibes and a touch of creativity to every moment.
