Gone Coastal

We very much so enjoyed our stay at Eastwinds in Chincoteague, VA. It was wonderful! Too short. The townhouse was impeccably clean and very nice, close to all the restaurants and about a 10 minute drive to the National Park. It was very nice seeing the gift package for our Pup. :-) She Very much enjoyed it. The only issues was the queen bed mattress could be a bit newer/firmer and just a caution. After a heavy rain the parkinlot gets about 2 inches of standing water for a few hours, making it interesting when getting everyone out of the car. :-) We will be back!

Second time staying at Gone Coastal. Loved the improvements since last time: namely, the fenced backyard - backyard small but good if you have a doggie! (Did not have ours this year but a good advantage if we come back and bring our pet!). Quiet neighborhood too!

This is our second time staying at Gone Coastal. We love this rental - it’s cute and clean and so well organized. It has everything we need for our time in Chincoteague.

Gone Coastal is an adorable home! It had everything we needed! It was clean, spacious, the fenced in back yard is adorable (even though our high maintenance dog refused to use it ). Thank you so much for your beautiful home. *Ps. Turns out my brother rented the exact house last year and we didn’t even know it!! Would love to stay again!

Overall our stay was pleasant.
However, the house was cleaned spotty. The management should pay more attention to a cleanliness of bathrooms. The toilet bowls looked badly.

Beautiful home, had everything available needed to ensure a quite, relaxing vacation. I’ll be returning!!!! One note, make sure you bring everything they instruct. I forgot sheets and towels...oops but was an easy fix. The local people are very helpful and friendly.

It was very nice clean and acccomadating, very comfortable,just wish the lady to the left and across the parking area in first apt had been friendy and not compaining exspecialy when you have kids

The home was updated, conveniently located, and all around easy. Found everything we needed and enjoyed a really nice, off-season visit.

Well furnished, very cozy, great for price no complaints. Management very friendly, very easy check in and check out.

This condo worked great for our family. We were close to everything without being too close. Everything was clean and updated. My only complaint was that there is no screened in porch as described in the rental listing. We were told there was nothing that they could do because it was a typo and that they would change the listing immediately. The listing still isn't changed so be aware that there is no screened in deck for grilling. But all in all we really enjoyed this rental.

Great house that if off the beaten path yet close to everything. Just 1/2 mile from the Island Creamery and 3/4 mile from Main St. The house was nice and quiet with your basic needs. I would recommend taking your own items to store leftover food because there were no containers for this. Other than that, our family enjoyed the house immensely. We spent ours days at the refuge on the beach, climbed the lighthouse, and drove the wildlife loop after 3pm. The mosquitoes were bad the first part of the week but they are not on the beach. We tried the all natural bug spray and had to resort to DEET. Overall a lovely quaint island town!

enjoyed the condo, clean, updated , bed comfortable. Would like to rent from owners and not Chincoteague Resorts. We had a difference of opinion , changing arrival time and departure. Taking time from us that we paid for. Been with Chincoteague Resorts for many years. No more

The condo was perfect for our family. Close to everything but not to close. The decor was a very nice touch and the kitchen was well equipped for our needs.The condo was cleaned very well when we arrived so I was so happy a sweeper and broom sweeper was at the condo for us to clean up before we left.

Of all the many units we have rented since 2004, we like this one the best and have reserved it already for next year, However, we have a few teeny tiny nits, mainly (1) that there is no full length mirror that we could find anywhere and (2) given that we eat-in and cook all our meals, the kitchen could use the addition of a hard boiled egg slicer and a cheese grater.
Gone Coastal is comfortable, tastefully furnished, well equipped, close enough to Main Street, walking distance to Church Street Produce, and an easy ride to the beach. What else could you ask for?

This is our first year at gone coastal. We absolutely loved it. The place is spacious and very well maintained. We hope to return next year and many years thereafter. Best place so far that we have stayed on the island.

We had a great week, the condo was modern, and it is in a great location, near the national refuge island bridge, Maddox Blvd, and the downtown area. Get some Sandy Pony Donuts, they are delicious!
