Egret's Cove

Egret’s accommodated our small family, and then some. The kitchen allowed 3 of us to be in the kitchen at once without getting in each other’s way. The screen porch right off the kitchen was excellent and used the entirety of our stay. Egret’s had everything we needed. From coffee on the pier in the morning to a glass of our favorite beverage by the hot tub in the evening, it was the perfect week for my family. I couldn’t have picked a better week and a better house for our family Thanksgiving.

This is our third time renting Egret's Cove. We keep coming back for the views, the bedrooms with private baths, the kitchen with every need accounted for, the spacious living/dining area for all kinds of fun activities. The entire home, yard & screened porch are spotless. Our dog, Amos, has relaxed almost as much as we have. We'll be back in the Spring for another dose of perfection!

We enjoyed this beautiful house and wonderful landscaping. Dock made it easy to get out and in of kayaks. There were birds, fish, crabs , and rays in the bay. House was near the end of the bay which was very calm

Loved it. The only difficulty was regulating the AC. But loved the house and loved the location. We biked to the beach almost every day and walked into town on other days.

Great rental. Plenty of space. View, screened porch, hot tub, dog friendly . All of these made for a wonderful stay. We have rented about 15 to 20 places on the island and Egret’s cove ranks among the tops.

We loved our stay here! The house is very comfortable and the yard was great for our dog. Would definitely come back!

We enjoyed staying at this comfortable house on Little Oyster Bay. Not luxurious but nicely appointed and well equipped. The location is quiet and conveniently close to Maddox Blvd. and the wildlife refuge. There are 3 bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms and an additional sleeping area in an upstairs alcove/loft (overlooking the living room).

This is our second time visiting Egret's Cove. If possible, we loved it even more. The weather was cloudy & chilly, but we had books to read, games to play & puzzles to maneuver. All adding to great interactions in your beautiful house. With lovely bedrooms to retreat to for a snooze & refreshment. Thank you for thinking of everything to make this a perfect vacation!

The house was amazing! Immaculate and clean when we showed up. Close to restaurants and shops. A quick 15 minute drive to Assateague Island, the wildlife loop and the beach. Saw horses, deer, birds, and a few turtles. Had a truly great week including Mother's Day. Beautiful views from the windows of the house looking at Oyster Bay. The dock was a favorite sitting location for us and the dog!

We had a very enjoyable long weekend stay. The house is very well stocked and was immaculately clean when we arrived. The furniture is comfortable and there was plenty room for our family to spread out in the house. The house has great amenities. Being dog friendly is a real plus but the cost to bring dogs was not a pleasant surprise considering we had already spent 1200 for 3 nights- this may put us off returning. Overall an amazing home and in warmer months this will be an absolute gem location.

Egret's Cove proved just right for our mid-winter birding trip to Chincoteague. With weather a challenge--lots of fog, mist, and drizzle, the fireplace provided just the warmth we needed after being out looking for birds. The upper decks were great for close to home bird watching too. Support from Coastal Shore Vacations staff contributed to an enjoyable three night stay. The house itself was comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the location off the beaten path, but close to every thing. A big surprise was how many places were open in late January. For first time visitors, you will be surprised at how well stocked the local grocery store is. Don't forget to visit Gary Howards for fresh seafood.

House was great & had a fabulous view. Our chihuahua loved the fenced in yard. Lots of wildlife in front of the house - deer, foxes, black squirrels & lots of egrets & heron in Oyster Bay.

No real complaints about the rental at all other than the one wake up beep at 0200 of fire alarm battery dying! lol - but all was well and many thanks to staff for sending batteries! Only 1 suggestion…. We of course were there the weekend of the “coastal storm” and it rained and was windy all week…. Maybe in the future someone would consider “traction strips” on front steps…. It became quite slippery that week with all the rain and we had a few slips but no injuries….I don’t think it would be an issue with 1 short rain but after a week of rain…. Otherwise a good week considering the weather….. house was very comfortable… see you next year!!!!

Even despite a few days of rain, another memorable stay. House is so comfortable, hot tub perfect on a cloudy day n the outside screened deck the perfect place to enjoy an evening drink or morning cup of coffee

We had a wonderful stay even though the weather was rainy and cold. The home was big enough for all to enjoy the different areas. Beds were awesome. Jacuzzi and screened porch were used every day. We made all meals except 2 breakfasts and 3 dinners. Well equipped kitchen. Our pets enjoyed the fenced in yard and the quiet neighborhood. The view was spectacular.

From the minute we stepped inside, this was the house of our dreams. Well-equipped, plenty of room for each, but wonderful spaces for gathering. Spectacular views & very dog-friendly PERFECT!

The house was amazing and other than just a few hiccups like not receiving the entrance code without having to contact the after hours number and the lock mechanism being broken for one entrance onto the screened patio, everything else was a fantastic experience.

This was such a charming rental, greeting you with its blue facade and white picket fence made for an enjoyable trip with our dog Piper! We loved the many amenities especially the dock we used to launch our kayak. The setting outside was Picturesque you’d from the dock the upper deck or the screened in porch from the hot tub. This house really had it all! I loved the beachy decor filled with books, puzzles, and games for the whole family to enjoy. If I owned a beach house I would want it to be like this one. Beds were comfortable and plenty of room for the family to spread out. We had a wonderful time!

Lovely house with comfortable beds and couches and a fabulous view. Tastefully decorated and a nice quiet street. Fenced in yard was great for our pup! The hot tub was perfect for our springtime stay, and we used it daily.
The dishwasher and washer/dryer are a little dated and dryer squeaks loudly so couldn’t run it at night, but the rest of the house is just wonderful!

The homes layout, location and comfort was perfect in everyway, and this says a lot as I am a picky person. Stay at Egret's Cove, you will love the sunrises over the water, the morning coffee on the private dock, and the cleanest hot tub in a private setting.
