Beutiful place, nice n clean, could have used more towels n fluffier pillows but other than than it was wonderful. We enjoyed it very much.

Have stayed at this home many times. Loves the updates. Only suggestion is that a coffee table is needed in family room. Loved the large one that was there before and would like to see the chair and a half that was also previously there. It is difficult to not even have a place to set a drink when the entire family sets there to talk or watch a movie on a rainy day!

The house was large and spacious and perfect for our family gathering of 9 people. Hot tub was a favorite for our grandchildren. Our only recommendation would be to place some lamps on bedside tables. Our family members are readers and lighting was difficult for reading.

We had a wonderful time!

This house was amazing and the owners were super helpful.....loved the location you could walk downtown to go to stores or to dinner. The only recommendation I could make is for the owner to put a private parking sign up out front so others don't think it's a parking lot.

This house has plenty of room for a family vacation. This house also has an awesome location and amenities that will make everyone happy. Plenty of space for a group of adults for any type of gathering.

A bittersweet gathering in memory of the loss of our son, grandson, brother and friend, Nathan due to boating accident in January 2022. We had moments of joy and sadness in remembrance of him, but many good moments as well. The house was a central meeting place for the all who attended and accommodations were exceptional. Thank you to everyone on the island.

We booked the house for a mukti-famiky Thanksgiving getaway and these place fit the bill perfectly. It was spacious, the decor was for the season and location in town was great to take a stroll up to the shops on Main Street. There were a couple minor issues, the towel bars were loose or missing and the toilet paper holders were also loose from the wall. Overall was an awesome stay, not to mention the yard was great size for our dog to get out and run around.

We had 7 adults and 2 children. Plenty of floor space along with plenty of couch space for lounging. Close to town, yet felt somewhat secluded with a fenced in yard and no close neighbors beside us.

Perfect home for our stay. Everyone had own bed and bathroom. Very pet friendly with fenced in yard. All amenities were great except hot tub was damaged but was being fixed. Close to eateries and shopping. Stayed here before and shall continue as long as available.

Our family had a nice time at Casa del Mar. The location is great with easy walking access to restaurants, the supermarket, and more. Property has nice amenities, though we were disappointed to find the hot tub out of order (we were partially compensated for this), and some niggling maintenance issues (toothbrush holders falling off the wall, that sort of thing). Overall a nice experience.

We enjoyed our stay. The house and its amenities were great. Already booked again for next year!

Super week in Chincoteague. House was roomy and very convenient to everything. Easy to bike to beach and walkable to shops in town. Excellent back yard with fire pit and hot tub top off the experience.

We loved everything about this home. Our only complaint was the cleaning was not up to par. We found dirty clothes under the bed and black dog hair everywhere. But we did book again for next year because it was beautiful, convenient, and the perfect size for our family.

Wonderful! !We had 4 generations ages 10 months to 89 years old.. The house was perfect there was plenty of space to spread out or to mingle. The kitchen had plenty of cooking utensils and dishes. It was a great location close to town. We had a great vacation and would highly recommend Casa Del Sol.

A relatively strange location given that for almost 20 years we have stayed in a house with a view of the sunset over water .. no such thing here.It is sandwiched between the Community Center and a Funeral Home which is owned by the owners of the house.Completely renovated, very well maintained, all the amenities (including a hot tub) ... and what wound up being a superb location in the heart of town.As a 20 year veteran of renting homes in Chincoteague I strongly recommend Casa Del Mar.

We have been going to Chincoteague for about 10 years now and have never stayed in the same place twice, but that will change next year as we hope to book Casa Del Mar again. Located pretty much in the center of town - a two minute bike ride to Sandy Pony Donuts - it had everything you could want in a vacation home. Large clean bedrooms, a large well-appointed kitchen, hot tub, and a huge yard. The dining room was big enough for 12, as was the living room. We had to call the realtor for some quibble, and the owner actually came over to take care of it, a truly lovely woman who couldn't have been nicer. My only complaint was that the appliances were so new and high tech that it took us awhile to figure out how they work! Book with confidence, as we will in 2021.

This house was amazing. We had 12 people. Plenty of room for sleeping, cooking, eating dinner together, and watching movies together. We enjoyed the hot tub every day after the beach. We had 2 minor issues the first day and the homeowner came right away and fixed them. The owners are right next door and are very accommodating and friendly, while also giving you privacy.

Beautiful spacious home in a great location! Very well stocked kitchen, we cooked all week & had everything we needed! Loved the firepit, hot tub & screen porch as well!
