Beach Bungalow

We had a great week and enjoyed the house and location. The only suggestion I would like to offer is instructions on how to use the television. We went all week without watching as we couldn’t figure out how to use it. 

Our stay on the island in Beach Bungalow was wonderful! We have been coming to the island for years and always stay with Coastal Shores Vacations. They always go above and beyond and all places we stay are extremely clean.

I chose Beach Bungalow for our week at Chincoteague because it was pet friendly. I was intrigued by the small, fenced yard for our two, large labradors retrievers. When we arrived, our initial impression was that the house appeared small...but we were pleasantly surprised! By way of the front door, there is a cozy living/dining room combo area that adjoins the kitchen. Off of the kitchen, there is a large, sunken living room area (outfitted with a wet bar, full bath, and futon sofa bed) that stayed nice and cool. Without any prompting, our dogs claimed that space for the week! The hallway has two bathrooms - one on each side. The one on the left has hallway and guest bedroom access, while the one on the right is solely accessed by the hall (not ensuite). A bit further down the hall (on the left) is a new stackable washer and dryer and the bedroom door. The primary bedroom (on the right) overlooks Eel Creek and provides access (by multiple sliding doors) to a beautiful, new deck. Our labs enjoyed the deck, sea salt breezes, and lots of birdwatching. Although they didn't really care for the small fenced in yard, the quiet circle-style street was perfect for their morning and evening walks. The house is well done (lots of attention to detail), is located close to most attractions on the island, and just a short drive or bike ride to the beach. I definitely recommend beach bungalow and we've already booked it for next year!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Very comfortable place. Loved the view. Loved the neighborhood where it was located. We would definitely stay at Beach Bungalow again!

The Beach Bungalow was awesome. Everything the ad said and more. The house is bigger than it appears in the photos. It was extremely clean and well-maintained. It is located very close to everything and we actually rode our bikes to most activities. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Nice house, walking distance to Maddox Blvd. Lovely porch with marsh and water views. Fabulous variety of appliances and kitchen ware! Beach chairs and
a mat were also provides, very convenient. Def will be back!

The house is lovely and very comfortable. In addition to a living room, dining area, and kitchen there are two bedrooms in the back and one room that is like a den and looks to be a converted garage. It has a bathroom with shower and a double (full size) and single futon. The master bedroom has a half bath, a queen bed and a sitting area with a fantastic view. The second bedroom has both a queen and a full-size bed. There is a full bathroom with shower accessible via the main hallway. Also, in that bathroom is a full-sized washer and dryer. The kitchen is small but has plenty of pots and pans. I didn’t notice any bakeware other than cookie sheets. The deck out back is wonderful and there is a Webber charcoal grill. There is a very small fenced in area for dogs to relieve themselves, but I would not consider that a play area. However, there is a great dog park nearby that has fenced in areas for both large and small dogs. The location is convenient, and the property management company is very responsive. We brought our own sheets and towels, but they are available to rent. Overall, we had a lovely time and would consider coming back. I'll add that the only reason I rated the cleanliness as 4 stars is that the floor wasn't as clean as it appeared. Everything else was spotless.

We enjoyed the beautifully decorated home, the deck and the especially the view over the bay.. it was exactly what we needed a quiet relaxing getaway with our pups.. they also loved hanging in the deck watching the birds and playing in the yard ! Tucked away in a cute neighborhood within walking distance to everything! We will definitely be back!
