Sunset Bay Villa 109

Always a good time.

It’s the highlight of the year for our family!!

109 was absolutely perfect! Would definitely book again! The condo was clean and spacious and had everything we needed! The only issue was the back slider lock was broken and should be fixed. Thanks again!

We have stayed at Sunset Bay since 2009. Since then, some of our favorite units were sold to private homeowners so we’ve tried many units in various sections and levels. You’ll find the 1st and 2nd floors can be noisy from the folks walking overhead, but it’s easy to get used to it. The 3rd floor is by far the quietest and end units have commanding bay views. We decided to try 109 this year because it was a 1st floor unit with easy access… just a few steps from the parking lot to our front door, no long corridors or elevators involved. 109 is an end unit with a boardwalk path on the side, allowing lots of windows. We had two adult couples and a 1-year-old. The front bedroom had windows looking out over the parking lot and this was a fun diversion for the baby. She liked to watch people and pups come and go. The furnishings in 109 are lovely, the beds comfortable, and the decor was simple and professionally done. No silly knickknacks and frills that take away from our comfort. The unit was very child-friendly - really nothing she could get into or bump her little head on! The last thing our son said before he left on the last day was, “We really like this unit and would like to stay here again next year”.

I spent a week here with my parents and three grandchildren (ages 7,9,and 11) it was a fantastic week. The home is very spacious, we felt we had plenty of room. The beds are very comfortable, and the decor is beautiful. We absolutely love the view and spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the water. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had not been to Chincoteague in probably 7 years and decided to take an impromptu trip to Chincoteague. It was well worth it. We had stayed at this complex way back when but not at Sunset Bay Villa. Our stay at Sunset Bay Villa was wonderful. The Villa was even better than the pictures and the location was perfect. The villa was very clean, well maintained and very tastefully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. We like to cook in and were very happy to find that the kitchen was extremely well stocked. Often when we travel we find that we have to bring a lot of our own kitchen items but this was not the case with Sunset Bay Villa. The view from the villa is great. The weather was perfect and we loved sitting on the deck, relaxing, having happy hour and watching the boats. We can't wait to come back. I guess if I had to say if anything was missing would be a table to eat on the deck as we would have enjoyed eating dinner outside but there was only small side tables. the check in and check out process was seem less and the welcome bag was a very nice touch.

We have stayed at Sunset Bay a number of years, we love the location and unit 109. It is a relaxing place to stay, we like sitting on the deck and seeing the boats go by and the birds flying in.

We had a wonderful stay everything went well. We just had an issue with the email and the security code. We enjoyed our stay

We had a great vacation at Sunset Bay Villa 109. We loved being on the first floor with direct access to the marina. The view of the waterfront is wonderful. You will need to walk a bit around the dock to view the sunset.

Beautiful homey and comfortable

Great place to stay with the family. Loved the view of the sunsets.
Pool looks nice on the pictures but it was one the small side and only 3 feet deep so my kids and I ended up not using it. Otherwise the place is amazing and would love to come back again to stay here.

When we arrived the counters were not wiped off and the Whirlpool tub did not work we contacted the rental office and was told to look for the panel and reset the breaker and that worked we used the tub several times during our stay and it worked fine until the breaker triped again then we decided not to use the tub anymore

Very professional, well organized rental, the property had everything needed for a family vacation home away from home.

What a beautiful place! We were disappointed because the pool wasnt operational but that was due to Covid! As well as as check in and check out were pushed up. But everything else was simply wonderful

We love Chincoteague and always enjoy our vacations here. Sunset Bay Villa is a great spot. The crabbing was great right out our back door!
We were very disappointed about the pool as we paid more to have a pool. A disclaimer stating that the pool was closed would have gone a long way in making our booking more enjoyable, as would have an apology. We did receive a discount, but it did not make up for the difference in price of rentals w/o a pool.
